This blog is one of those kind that periodically has a picture of a cat in its contents. You cannot say you were not warned.
Hey there! I’m mainly interested in technology (gadgets), cooking, art, and evil cats. I work as a Technology Services Coordinator for a Library System in the US. I purchase, install, and fix computers and other related tech-goo. It is how I get paid and I enjoy my job. Away from work though, I like cooking, gadgets, and electronics. I’m rather prudent with my purchases so I tend to do LOTS of research before I put actual money down.
I’m less likely to buy something impulsively because I’ve learned from experience. I have accumulated too much stuff that is sitting around gathering dust. If I buy something, it’s something I’ve needed for awhile and I’ve let it stand the test of time to prove its worth.

Cooking is another goofy thing. I used to have a coworker that would sometimes get really really stressed over something and have to unwind. This is a guy that used to be a police officer, which I can imagine is a rough job. He had to find a way to let go of the stress. His solution was to bake.
I tried it and found out that oddly, it works! My only guess is that guys are wired to be focused on a singular task. Without a task, the mind wanders. Baking takes something that is fairly linear but involves several steps, each with a different task. This is enough to get anything stressful out of someone’s head and focus on the task at hand. Very zen.

And finally, I have a cat. I have been told by all that encounter it that it is of the evil variety. I believe my friends. She is evil. I know it’s a staple of any vanity blog to have cat pictures on it, but she deserves the attention.
